The salary range given above includes base pay and locality pay, you will also receive a 5.57% cost of living allowance for Anchorage. This allowance is subject to annual review, adjustment and gradual decrease.

The selectee will be part of the Alaska Combined Service Center which is a full service Human Resource Office, staffed by both BLM and FWS employees and provides services to both Bureaus. The offices are located at both the FWS and BLM Regional Offices with the Staffing, Benefits, and Processing groups located at the BLM building and the Employee Relations, Classification, OWCP, and Retirements located at the FWS building. The primary purpose of this position is to process personnel actions, conduct new employee orientation, respond to inquiries, and assist employees in completing forms.
This is a developmental position. The incumbant will perform duties at a reduced level of responsibility and difficulty while receiving training and gaining experience. Promotion to the next grade level may occur after completion of necessary training, ability to perform duties at the next higher level, and meeting time-in-grade requirements.
