Civilian employees serve a vital role in supporting the Army mission. They provide the skills that are not readily available in the military, but crucial to support military operations. The Army integrates the talents and skills of its military and civilian members to form a Total Army.

About the Position: This position provides the opportunity to serve MEDDAC-AK as a Medical Support Assistant (Office Automation) by performing a variety of receptionist, clerical and recordkeeping duties associated with patient care and treatment in one or several clinics.

About the Location:  Anchorage Alaska is host to many different cultures; unique shopping and dining facilities as well as sporting activities such as fishing, hunting, hiking, camping, snowboarding, skiing and site seeing. Approximate population is 300,000. It is the home to the University of Alaska-Anchorage as well as smaller community colleges. Average summer daylight time is 18 hours with temperatures usually in the 60s or 70s; winter daylight time is 6 to 8 hours with temperatures in the 20s to -10.

The advertised salary does not include our current rate of 5.57% tax free Cost ofLiving Allowance (COLA).

Salary includes applicable locality pay or Local Market Supplement.
