JOB SUMMARY:
EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Associates degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent experience.
PREFERRED:
Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university.
TECHNICAL SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
PREFERRED:
Bilingual capabilities.
EXPERTISE/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
4+ years of applicable related job experience.
SKILLS:
Excellent people management skills, strong customer service skills, excellent organizational, interpersonal written and verbal communications skills, ability to interact courteously and effectively with a variety of people, ability to perform comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment, ability to successfully execute many complex tasks simultaneously, ability to work as a team member, attentional to detail, as well as independently and ability to work under standards-based performance measures.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.Type/generate letters and other documents, as necessary.
2. Assist in the preparation of reports.
3. Maintain records management, filing, retention, and/or labeling.
4. Maintains confidentiality and security of all relevant information.
5. Follow policies and procedures without deviation.
6. Arrange meetings, as required
7. Administers incoming and outgoing mail.
8. Works schedule as established by supervisor to accommodate business hours
9. Assists supervisor with special projects and tasks on an as needed basis.
10. Performs accurately all data entry functions.
11. Assists internal and external customers in problem resolution, as needed.
12. Maintains updated knowledge of MAXIMUS-run programs.
13. Provides excellent customer service
14. Operates multi-line phone system, answers incoming telephone calls and performs other clerical duties proficiently and professionally
15. Performs other duties as may be assigned by management.
