Duty Location/Campus:  Mental Health Service (MHS), North Little Rock Campus, Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System (CAVHS).  Tour of Duty:  M-F 8:00 am - 4:30 pm 

The CAVHS is seeking a Chief Psychologist/Senior Program Manager.  The position is responsible to the Associate Chief of Staff for Mental Health and assists in planning, establishing, and implementing policies and procedures; developing individual or group goals and objectives as well as monitoring, operating, evaluating, coordinating, and overseeing psychology services within a large and complex medical center with over 40 psychologists, in addition to Vocational Counselors/Specialists, Peer Support Specialists, and various administrative staff.  The CAVHS is a large and complex medical center comprising two large divisions (Little Rock & N. Little Rock) and eight Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC's).  The position is responsible for oversight of both the Psychology Internship and Fellowship Training Programs to ensure training meets APA, APPIC, and OAA mandates.  The position ensures that psychology staff are aware of, adhere to all current directives of the Veterans Health Administration, and meet current Joint Commission standards, state licensure standards, and VA-Office of Inspector General expectations.  The position conducts ongoing intensive reviews and appraisals to ensure the accomplishment of objectives and adherence to standards set by governing bodies.  The position will provide other Senior Program Managers with administrative and supervisory duties as assigned and may also provide direct clinical services.
