About the Position:
This position is in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). Employees occupying DCIPS positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the HQDA, ODCS, G-2, Intel Per Mgt Office, Washington, DC. Duty Location: Pentagon, Arlington, VA.
Serves as the communication link between the Civilian Personnel activity pertaining to all aspects of personnel management system for reorganizations, organization restructuring, position management, and manpower utilization. Is responsible for conduct of a variety of administrative information, flow studies, administrative work processes, procedural reviews, improvement studies, etc., to provide management with recommendations for insuring optimum utilization of available resources. Together with the Director of Intelligence Civilian Personnel Policy, the administrative officer, plans, reviews, and recommends improvements to directorate and organizational make up and the structure of positions to eliminate unnecessary ones and achieve optimum production in those that remain. Manages the organizations civilian personnel and training programs.
