Assistant Professor in Transportation Planning
The Department of Landscape Architecture and Urban Planning at Texas A&M University, College Station, TX, invites applications for a tenure-track position in transportation planning. We are especially interested in candidates who can combine a background in transportation with expertise in one or more of the following areas: land use planning, environmental planning/sustainability, design, and planning theory. Expertise in transportation modeling highly desirable.
At a minimum, the successful candidate must have a Ph.D. in urban planning or a related field, or be eligible to obtain one by September 1, 2012. He or she will be expected to teach courses in transportation planning, as well as one or more core courses in the departmentA
