JOB SUMMARY:
NCCCO CRANE OPERATOR for nationwide company - Must have a current NCCCO certification. Two to five years experience erecting pre-engineered metal buildings preferred. Responsible for the following (including but not limited to): daily equipment inspections, read and understand load charts, ensure safety at all times, control crane movement in response to hand signals or radio commands, may be assigned to miscellaneous tasks outside the craft to assist others as required. We work throughout the U.S. Assignment could be at any of our project locations. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: * Two to three years construction experience (structural steel and metal building preferred). * Responsible, reliable and dependable. * Work well with others in a professional manner. * Follow directions - written and verbal. * Willing to work in a fast-paced production environment, which includes physical labor. * Maintain a regular and dependable level of attendance. * Able to work extended work days and work week. * First aid, CPR certified preferred. JOB MAY REQUIRE: * Bending/stooping, squatting, crawling, reaching above shoulders, kneeling and twisting * Able to navigate work sites. * Ascending to and descending from heights up to or over 100' by use of permanent or temporary stairs, ladders, aerial lifts or use of personnel hoists. * Periodic lifting of construction materials of various weights and sizes. May involve lifting above shoulders. * Sitting, standing or walking for long periods of time. * Vision abilities include close and peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. * Operate, finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls. * Hearing at levels of normal speech. * Outdoor work in all types of weather and project site conditions. * Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (hard hat, safety glasses, work boots. gloves, etc.).
