<tr><td valign="top" width="450"><b>Mechanical EngineerLocation California - Agoura Hills - Bldg 2 HR-CA032Employment Category Regular Full TimeDuties & Responsibilities Based in Agoura Hills CA this person will be an individual contributor to a multi-site, multifunctional engineering design and product development team. · Work with the applications team, product specialists, and marketing to define product requirements for multiple size and scope test cell products. These include production test interfaces, docking solutions and manipulators.· Conceptualize, select and defend technical solutions to complex and highly integrated mechanical engineering problems.· Provide both tolerance and finite element engineering analyses to support detail design concepts and implementation.· Execute machine and equipment design projects at the detail part and manufacturing release level for both systems and components.· Develop and document technical risk mitigation plans.· Document and execute design verification test plans.· Support existing products to end of life.Basic Qualifications, Experience, Skills & Education Required · BS degree in mechanical engineering discipline, minimum 5 years experience, MS preferred.· Electro-mechanical design/analysis skills required.· Strong analytical skills including finite element modeling and tolerance analysis.· Machine and equipment design experience is fundamental, including:· Packaging, sheet metal design, and manufacturing processes knowledge.· Simple automation and mechanism design using slides, motors, and controls.· Experience with engineering projects and integrating with global teams.· Experience with project and risk management tools including FMEA.· Proficient with SolidWorks CAD and PDM software.· Solid communications skills needed.Exempt/Non-Exempt ExemptRelocation Available NoShift 1stApply to job  Send to friend Save to cart View similar jobs
