Liberty Mutual has an excellent claims opportunity available.As an Inside Property Claims Specialist for Safeco, you will manage, investigate and resolve Large Loss Homeowner claims. You will provide policyholders with quality customer service on high profile/high exposure claims. Claims are frequently non-livable dwelling assignments.* Investigates, determines coverage of loss and adjusts all elements of Property Loss claims of high severity.* Works with a Field Appraiser or Liberty network contractor in the appraisal process of severe complexity claims.* Provides quality customer service. Explains coverage of loss, assists policyholders with itemization of damages, emergency repairs and additional living arrangements.* Works with and may coordinate a number of vendor services such as contractors, emergency repair, cleaning services and various replacement services.* Identifies and fully investigates suspicious losses. Recommends referral to SIU where appropriate and may assist the SIU in their investigation and settling of the claim.Qualifications:* Bachelors Degree and minimum 6 years of proficient and directly related experience handling Personal Lines Homeowner Claims.* Property claims handling experience is required.* Requires advanced knowledge of Property claims handling procedures and a full working knowledge of claims operations and procedures.* Strong written and communication skills are required along with strong interpersonal, analytical and negotiation skills.* Requires strong computer skills with the ability to work with multi-faceted systems.* Ability to effectively and independently manage workload while exhibiting good judgment.* Licensing as requiredBenefits:* Career advancement through our promote from within philosophy* Outstanding benefits including 401K (company match) and company paid pension planWe recognize that talented people are attracted to companies that provide competitive pay, comprehensive benefits packages and outstanding advancement opportunities.
