JOB SUMMARY:

<tr><td valign="top" width="450"><b>CHOICES After School Program is funded by the State, through the After School Education and Safety ASES grant. CHOICES serves approximately 1,800 Tulare County students every day. The purpose of the program is to provide academic support to students through homework assistance, tutoring, experiential learning and fitness development. Students are served at school sites and range from Kindergarten through eighth grade. - The positions are part time and includes a minimum of 28 hours of paid training over the course of a school year
-Prior experience with students, or working in a school setting, is highly preferred
-Program Leaders would be responsible for 20-23 students
- Demonstration of meeting No Child Left Behind standards, copy of a degree OR college transcripts reflecting 48+ units OR Passage of the Instructional Aid Exam. **Must apply on-line www.edjoin.org.
**Great experience for those interested in pursuing teaching or social services.
