The Sales Representative for the Automotive Aftermarket Division at 3M will be responsible for calling on end user collision repair shops and distributors. This position drives profitable business sales in assigned geography, accounts and/or distribution. Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following
* Selling AAD products such as Abrasives, Adhesives, Tapes, Spray Equipment, and Polishing Products
* Understanding of customer processes and being able to sell value versus just price
* Working with distribution at customers and providing them with product training
* Driving sales forecast attainment for San Diego, CA and local territory
Travel There will be approximately 10-25% travel required of this position
Relocation Limited relocation assistance is provided with this position
REQUIRED SKILLS
Basic Qualifications
* Minimum of a Bachelors Degree from an accredited college
* Minimum of three years experience in a Business to Business B2B sales role
* A current, valid and unrestricted Drivers License is required
* Fluency in English and Spanish verbal and written
Preferred Qualifications
* Minimum of five years B2B sales experience within an Automotive Industry setting
* Strong oral, written, and presentation skills
* Minimum of one year using Microsoft Word, Excel, and/or PowerPoint
* Ability to Travel 10-25%
