This will involve classroom instruction and laboratory activities predominantly for the training maintenance supervisors. Additionally support any of the company''s training programs and outage staffing training will be a portion of the instructors'' duties. New instructors will be trained and qualified in the systematic approach to training (SAT) process. The primary responsibility of the instructor is to properly implement and document the SAT process which includes the following tasks: Analyze subject material for new and revised training. Use the design process to determine job performance measures (JPMs), establish training settings, sequence training objectives, and identify test items from the objectives. Develop lessons for classroom and laboratory settings, JPM performance evaluations, and test questions. Implement developed training by being prepared to present the material and ensuring the instructional facilities and resources are adequate and ready to provide a quality learning experience. Evaluate training process by the collection of data, including test results, feedback, and the performance of post training evaluations.DutiesQualifications: Past or present SRO License or Certification on a PWR (Westinghouse 4-Loop preferred) Certification as both a classroom and simulator training instructor within the past three years (Westinghouse 4-Loop preferred) Ability to gain and maintain unescorted access to nuclear plant and pass Nuclear Pre-Access Drug Screen Five years nuclear power plant experience, three of which being Supervisory or Operations Instructional experience Involvement in work projects requiring interface with NRC or INPO during the past three yearsJob keywords/tags: training,instruction,teaching
