JOB SUMMARY:

<tr><td valign="top" width="450"><b>As a brake and front-end mechanic, your primary responsibility is to perform brake and suspension maintenance and repair work, as well as installation of lift kits and lowering kits, shocks, struts, tires, wheels and undercar accessories. Knowledge of B.A.R. regulations and approved practices is required.
Essential job functions will include the following
Diagnosing and performing repairs on all customer brake systems.
Installation of shocks and struts on a variety of vehicles.
Installation of lift kits and lowering kits.
Mounting and dismounting of tires and wheels, as well as procedures and best practices for tire balancing and repair.
Completing repairs promptly and properly to meet store efficiency and customer satisfaction goals.
Follow all Big Brand Tire operations policies.
Full knowledge of and compliance with B.A.R regulations.
The ability to accurately estimate costs of all repair work and effectively communicate them to the customer.
Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and maintain a professional demeanor with customers and co-workers.
Preferred candidates will also be able to perform the following
Perform alignments on a variety of vehicle types, including two-wheel, four-wheel and hybrid vehicles.
Physical Job Requirements
Ability to lift at least 70 pounds.
Ability to physically endure continuous lifting, bending, twisting, and crouching.
