Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Field safety supervision including site safety observations and audits
Conducting incident investigations and root cause analysis and developing corrective action plans.
Hazard Identification and mitigation skills and JSA coaching
Contractor management
Develop and conduct safety training and regular safety meetings
Develop regular safety performance reports
Develop site safety plans
Various other safety related tasks as needed
Required
Providing on site safety support for an Oil and gas producer.
5-10 years experience in coaching and mentoring contractor personnel to improve safety culture and safety performance in areas including
New Construction
Drilling
Production
Pipeline and Maintenance
Must understand and enforce all Safety regulations as well as client safety rules and requirements.
Must be able to perform safety supervisory functions such as work site audits, observations, and training when required.
DesiredCSP, ASP, OHST or CHST desired
Required Education High school diploma or a degree in a Safety related field preferred
