Services Leadership develops company-wide policies
and procedures for Safety and Health and provides
subject matter expertise on a variety of safety
disciplines. SEHS maintains knowledge of,
interprets and determines regulatory compliance
with safety and health regulations, policies,
organizational safety and health programs. All
employees are responsible for performing their
jobs in accordance with PGEs vision and values.
Position Summary The Safety Program Consultant
works with all PGE utility departments to detect,
prevent, and mitigate safety and health risks
review, assess and identify safety and health
program effectiveness and design/implement
improvements partners with departments to assess
and rank risks, develop and audit safety and
health action plans, develop metrics and evaluate
their effectiveness. Qualifications Minimum - 5
years related experience - Bachelor?s degree,
preferably in science, engineering, environmental
health and safety, occupational safety or
industrial hygiene discipline or equivalent work
experience Desired - Ability to attain initial
professional certification within two years e.g.,
ASP,OHST, certifications in asbestos or lead
management - Solid understanding of PGE safety
procedures and the Code of Safe Practices. - Solid
