<tr><td valign="top" width="450"><b>Title: Assistant Lab ManagerLocation: CA-Barstow (San Bernardino region)This is a working CLS/Assistant Laboratory Manager position. In addition to CLS duties, they will also assist the Administrative Lab Director with supervisory duties and will have 1 CLS report directly to them. Following procedures established by the Section Heads and medical directors, a Clinical Laboratory Scientist performs a variety of laboratory tests in many areas of the laboratory, including High Complexity Tests as defined by CLIA. A CLS is responsible for accuracy and reporting of results of application of principles, theories and techniques, professional judgment, computer proficiency, microscopic proficiency, and good communications skills.BA/BS degree from an accredited college or university with a major in thebiological or chemical sciences as required for California State licensure.Completion of an accredited CLS program with requisite internship.At least 2 years of recent/current CLS hospital and benchwork experience required.Management experience is preferred.Valid and current California CLS license.Must provide original/original duplicate license upon hire.Primary Locaiton: CA-Barstow (San Bernardino region)Organization: Barstow Community Hospital
