<tr><td valign="top" width="450"><b>Title: Director of RadiologyLocation: CA-Barstow (San Bernardino region)Under the direction of the CEO, the Director of Radiology & Outpatient Services creates and implements policies and procedures for the Outpatient Services functions of the hospital. Responsible for the administration and technical direction of Medical Imaging and Outpatient Departments. Ensures a high level of quality care and services by coordinating and communicating operational procedures to staff and various departments serving the outpatient hospital population. Provides coordination of the technical and administrative activities for Outpatient Services and personnel of the Medical Imaging Department. Monitors department operations to assure compliance with governmental and other regulations and meets standards estabished by accrediting agencies and others.Education:* Graduate of approved school in Radiology Technology, Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound, or similar imaging field. AS degree required. Bachelors in Healthcare or related field preferred.Certifications / Licenses:* Licensed or eligible in CA (CRT). ARRT, NMTCB or ARMDS registry required. Current CA licensure in allied health field. CPR/BLS required.Experience:* Ten (10) years clinical experience to include two (2) years radiology supervisory experience.* Experience in quality improvement activities and background in cost/benefit analysis.
