Linc Government Services is currently seeking expressions of interest from candidates in support of the upcoming Logistics Support Services Contract at Fort Irwin, CA. These positions are responsible for working closely with customers to develop comprehensive project plans, budget requirements, task descriptions, work breakdown structures, and to accomplish program/project requirements and mission objectives. The following areas address the broad scope of knowledge considered necessary to successful management of this contract. The following areas address the broad scope of knowledge considered necessary to successful management of this contract.The Environmental Officer must have previously been employed in the environmental compliance field and have minimum of 5 years in the military Safety, Health and Environmental Standards and Procedures. The Environmental Officer must have received a minimum of 40 hours of hazardous waste management training and a minimum 16 hour course in hazardous material transportation.Must be knowledgeable in the following:· Must be knowledgeable in lockout/tag out procedures and confined space operations.· Must be knowledgeable in the Environment Health Standards (EHS) related regulations, chemical and hazardous material management and ISO 14001 Environmental Management System.* Have a working knowledge of California Code of Regulations Title 8 & 17, Code of Federal Regulations 29, 40 & 49 and CAL OSHADuties & ResponsibilitiesAssociated skills that are desirable: Ability to gain cooperation, coordinate the work of others, and build a cohesive team, Skill in written and oral presentations, Capability to adjust work operations to meet emergency or changing program or production requirements within available resources and with minimum sacrifice to quantity and quality of work, Ability to establish program objectives or performance goals and assess progress, and Ability to analyze organizational and operational problems and develop timely and economical solutionsQualifications RequiredApplicants selected for this position will be subject to a U.S. government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.Must have relevant experience at a comparable level of responsibility in projects of similar size, scope and complexityFive (5) years in the military Safety, Health and Environmental Standards and ProceduresMust be able to effectively communicate orally & respond to customer inquiries or complaints.Possess analytical and research skills.Bachelor’s degree is desirable, preferably in safety and environmental related field.Must be a U.S. CitizenInterpersonal Skills* Well organized, hard worker, team player* Strong Analytical experience* Strong attention to detail and follow-through skills in a fast paced environment.Our CompanyLinc Government Services,an ABM Company, was formed to meet the unique challenges of military and other governmental agencies mission support services.
