These positions are responsible for working closely with customers to develop comprehensive project plans, budget requirements, task descriptions, work breakdown structures, and to accomplish program/project requirements and mission objectives. The following areas address the broad scope of knowledge considered necessary to successful management of this contract. The following areas address the broad scope of knowledge considered necessary to successful management of this contract.· Logistical support in the areas of supply, maintenance, and transportation.· The interrelated functions of the financial management and general accountingrequirements as they relate to the total logistical responsibility of the contract.· Broad knowledge of materiel readiness program.· Ability to plan for mobilization and reserve component logistical training and support.· Knowledge and understanding of the Army''s chain of command.Duties & ResponsibilitiesThe Maintenance Manager (Alternate Project Manager) shall have a minimum of 3 years general experience which provides a good basis or general knowledge of the principles of organization, management, administration, budgeting and financial management; and 5 years specialized experience in operating administrative or managerial activities in a type of work for a combination of logistical functions directly related to industrial operations. Associated skills that are desirable: Ability to gain cooperation, coordinate the work of others, and build a cohesive team, Skill in written and oral presentations, Capability to adjust work operations to meet emergency or changing program or production requirements within available resources and with minimum sacrifice to quantity and quality of work, Ability to establish program objectives or performance goals and assess progress, and Ability to analyze organizational and operational problems and develop timely and economical solutions.Qualifications RequiredApplicants selected for this position will be subject to a U.S. government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.Degree in Information Management or Computer Science experience managing programs and information systems.Three years general experience in management, professional, technical or other work in providingservices to support a specified maintenance mission.Five years specialized experience in progressively responsible positions encompassing the following:Understanding of program planning, funds control, data collection and analysis, and control techniquesExpert proficiency in use of Microsoft OfficeInterpersonal Skills * Well organized, hard worker, team player* Strong Analytical experience* Strong attention to detail and follow-through skills in a fast paced environment.
