<tr><td valign="top" width="450"><b>PULAU Corporation is seeking a Motor Vehicle Mechanic for the Warfighter FOCUS contract at Ft. Irwin, CA. There is no relocation assistance available. This is a non-exempt, full-time position with the hourly rate of pay at $23.56. This is a Service Contract Act position.
Job Duties
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance checks and services PMCS in accordance with appropriate military technical manuals or commercial documentation.
- Repairs can range from the replacement of a road wheel to the replacement of engine / drive train components.
- Performs technical inspections on all vehicles assigned.
- Performs recovery operations on inoperative vehicles.
- Completes and submits vehicle status reports.
- Annotates parts needed for repair from appropriate parts manuals.
- Maintenance support of military tactical wheeled vehicles, forklifts, commercial owned / leased vehicles, NAVISTAR trucks, and GFE mounted shelters.
- Diagnoses, repairs and replaces worn or broken engine parts, assemblies, electrical and hydraulic systems and components.
- Conducts organizational maintenance on gasoline / diesel fueled heavy and light vehicles, including 5 Ton on prime movers and associated trailers.
Job Requirements
- Able to road test vehicles after repair.
- Work varying shifts, weekends and holidays.
- Work out of doors in a variety of weather conditions.
- Ability to use diagnostic equipment and repair vehicles.
- High School Diploma or equivalent .
- Ability to obtain a US Government SECRET Clearance.
