These positions are responsible for working closely with customers to develop comprehensive project plans, budget requirements, task descriptions, work breakdown structures, and to accomplish program/project requirements and mission objectives. The following areas address the broad scope of knowledge considered necessary to successful management of this contract. The following areas address the broad scope of knowledge considered necessary to successful management of this contract.The Safety Officer must have 5 years of satisfactory experience in preparing and enforcing the safety program on contracts of similar size and complexity. The Safety Officer must have 10 years of experience in development and implementation of Quality Control Programs and with quality control for government projects.Knowledge of the following:· OSHA requirements and regulations-review and implement all changes or updates.· Format, schedule, documentation for QC Inspections, corrective actions, follow-up inspections, continuous improvement, performance metrics, trend analysis, and reporting.· Receiving and reviewing reports on accident and property damage.· Safety Programs that include development and implementation that adhere to Federal and Military Regulations.Quality surveillance and tracking systems for vendors and subcontractorsDuties & ResponsibilitiesAssociated skills that are desirable: Ability to gain cooperation, coordinate the work of others, and build a cohesive team, Skill in written and oral presentations, Capability to adjust work operations to meet emergency or changing program or production requirements within available resources and with minimum sacrifice to quantity and quality of work, Ability to establish program objectives or performance goals and assess progress, and Ability to analyze organizational and operational problems and develop timely and economical solutionsQualifications RequiredApplicants selected for this position will be subject to a U.S. government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.Must have relevant experience at a comparable level of responsibility in projects of similar size, scope and complexity10 years of experience in development and implementation of Quality Control Programs and with quality control for government projectsCompleted 40-hour OSHA construction safety class or equivalent within the last yearHave least 24 hours of safety training per year for the past five years.Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Health Sciences and Safety (or equivalent) is required.Must be a U.S. CitizenInterpersonal Skills* Well organized, hard worker, team player* Strong Analytical experience* Strong attention to detail and follow-through skills in a fast paced environment.Our CompanyLinc Government Services,an ABM Company, was formed to meet the unique challenges of military and other governmental agencies mission support services.
