JOB SUMMARY:

<tr><td valign="top" width="450"><b>The IBEW Electrical Apprenticeship is used to train people with little or no prior electrical knowledge to become capable, qualified craftsmen or journeyman.  Its an earn while you learn program. The on-the-job portion of the training is a full time, well paid job.
Apprentice Wireman
Must bring High School diploma or GED when submitting application.
Must bring birth certificate proving you are at least 18 years of age.
Must bring official, unopened transcripts showing you passed both semesters of High School algebra with a grade of C or better.
Must pass our math and reading comprehension test.
Must have reliable transportation and be drug free.
Must attend Apprentice classes for five years.
Starting wage $19.72 with benefit package - $12.30 on the check.  Automatic pay increases until graduation.
Apprentice Wireman with Direct Interview
Must prove 4,000 hours in the trade through W-2 or SS printout or electrical experience on your DD214.
Must attend Apprentice classes for five years.
Starting wage to be determined by experience. No more than $36.08 with benefit package - $21.09 on the check.  Automatic pay increases until graduation.
