CONTRACTOR RESPONSIBILITIES
A.Duties/Responsibilities  Under the direction of the HCM/CMO or designee, Contractor shall provide services as permitted within the scope of practice for a Registered Radiologic X-Ray Technologist
1.Develop and process X-Ray exposures
2.Consult with Radiologist or ordering physicians in the event of allergic reaction to injected radiologic dyes or any other medical emergency
3.Provide emergency medical support to physician in the event of allergic reaction to injected radiologic dyes or any other medical emergency
4.Utilize proper identification marker prior to procedure
5.Utilize proper technique for exam ordered
6.Perform and assist physician with special procedures i.e.,routine flouro, drainage procedures, biopsies, myelograms, etc
7.Perform general diagnostic radiographic works and processing of exposed X-Ray film and automatic process
8.Provide for the care and safety of patient inmates undergoing X-Ray procedures
9.Proper labeling of films before they are turned in to the Radiologist
10.Maintain the medical records of patients undergoing the X-Ray procedures
11.Deliver and pick-up X-Rays and reports
12.Ensure X-Ray reports are transcribed and distributed in a timely manner
13.Review X-Ray film for clarity
14.Prepares and changes solutions
15.Respond to emergency room and bedside radiographic examination
16.Ensure supplies are adequate to perform all radiographic exposures and procedures
17.Comply with radiation protection in accordance with safety standards
18.Coordinate maintenance of the X-Ray machines to keep them in safe operating conditions
19.Perform special radiographic examination with and without contact media in the radiology room as well as in the operating room
20.Perform darkroom procedures and replenishes chemicals in order to obtain quality radiographic process
21.Maintain medical records and filing of films and reports in a timely manner
22.Prepare films and paper work for sending out log for reading
23.Performs other duties as assigned
24.Maintain professional working relationship between inmates and Health Care Services Staff and
25.Comply with and practice universal safety precautions.
