<tr><td valign="top" width="450"><b>Perinatal Clinical ManagerDepartment: Perinatal (LDRP)Schedule: Full-TimeShift: DaysHours: 7a-7pJob Details: * RN Required* The Perinatal Department Clinical Manager is responsible for the day to day operations within the Perinatal nursing unit on a specific shift. Manages human resources at the unit level in a cost effective manner. Promptly and fully investigates and resolves complaints of patients, visitors, staff, and physicians, advising management/administration appropriately. The Clinical Manager demonstrates an ability to respond and provide direction in changing workloads during crisis and emergency situations. Accepts responsibility for helping employees understand difficult administrative decisions. Provides supervision of functions and activities in coordination with the Department Director. The Clinical Manager interprets and implements policies, procedures, standards and regulations to personnel, patients, medical staff and the public. Basic Qualifications:Current licensure to practice Registered Nursing in the State ofCalifornia. Current CPR, ACLS and PALS certification as required by Department. One year charge nurse experience within specialty field. Graduation from an accredited school of nursing. BSN or Bachelors Degree Preferred. Previous Management Experience Preferred. Demonstrated clinical competence and leadership skills. Demonstrated ability to present self in a positive and professional manner. Familiarity with the basic nursing performance standards as outlined in the California Nurse Practice Act.
