Must be able to prioritize, plan, and organize the delivery of comprehensive multi-disciplinary nursing care. Ability to demonstrate knowledge and skill in the following: performance of neonatal resuscitation and assistance in the care of newborn at delivery, identifying nursing problems of the postpartum patient and intervene as appropriate, performance of specific duties required to care for postpartum patient, and performance of neonatal resuscitation and assisting in the case of the infant at delivery. Must possess interpersonal skills that lend to a positive and caring relationship with patients, families and fellow employees. Basic Qualifications: Current Registered Nursing licensure in the State of California. Current CPR, ACLS, NPR and Basic Fetal Monitoring certification upon hire, and throughout employment. Previous clinical experience in a patient care setting preferred with successful completion of orientation and training to the point of competence.
