SurgeryDepartment: SurgerySchedule: Full-TimeShift: VariesHours: 8Job Details: * The Operating Room Technician (ORT) functions as a team member in the provision of patient care prior to, during, and immediately following the surgical procedure performed in the Operating Room. Basic Qualifications: Previous clinical experience in a patient care setting, successful completion of orientation and training to the point of competence. ORT certification by the State of California, or graduate of an approved OR technician training program, or minimum one (1) yr experience in central processing with hospital training. Current CPR certification. Work Scheduling: is determined by patient care needs. Working every other weekend is a minimum requirement. Shift and call assignments are modified to reflect department needs.
