Conduct or assist in conducting OIC/RSO certificate program. Receive, process, integrate, prioritize and approve training area requests. Work with Federal, State and Local agencies, as required, for all base utilization issues.Fire Desk Operators have eleven (11) prime roles and responsibilities to include:?Ensure RTA operations are de-conflicted.?Responsibility for operation of the Fire Desk?When necessary the dispatching of range safety personnel?Manage scheduled range and training areas?Manage scheduled restricted airspace?Authorizing aircraft movement within restricted airspace?The initiation of emergency procedures?Process or initiate same day requests for range access?Controlling the movement of personnel within range and training areas?Capture utilization data (One of the most important responsibilities)?Perform End of Day processingFire Desk Operations familiarity, knowledge of USMC range regulations and safety proceduresKnowledge of Marine Corps range safety policy and procedures. Working knowledge of RFMSS. Newly hired employees must successfully complete the Marine Corps Range Safety Courses Level I and II to maintain this position.At CGI, we re a team of builders.
