This Sales Rep assists the Director of Sales to increase corporate and social client base through consistent solicitations while establishing trust and rapport with clients to generate and boost revenues. This management level position is responsible for soliciting new accounts & working with existing accounts to ensure repeat business. Due to the potential pressure to generate sales, should be able to handle and manage stress appropriately. This premier Conference Center & Special Event venue sells space & catering packages. The sales team participates in local networking events as well as attending tradeshows, conferences, etc so some travel may be involved.The ideal candidate will have the following preferred experience/skills: * Minimum of 2 years sales experience selling social & corporate events for a similar type facility?* Full knowledge of space planning, meeting configurations, contract writing, completing BEOs, and upselling* Stamina to continually seek a &ldquo;YES&rdquo; beyond an initial &ldquo;NO&rdquo;* Must be flexible, decisive, motivated, reliable and creative* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal* Bilingual in Spanish/English preferredSodexo Conferencing group manages premier Conference Centers across the US.
