Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will serve as the Range Maintenance Supervisor responsible for supervising up to five personnel to maintain selected ranges and facilities at Camp Roberts, California Army National Guard installation located approximately 9 miles north of the city of Paso Robles. As the Range Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for coordinating with the Military Range officer to establish work priorities for range maintenance as well as attend weekly Ranger Officer meetings to provide updates on range maintenance and repair. The candidate responsibilities will also include performing vegetation control such as: bushes removal that can cause unsafe range conditions; conduct routine maintenance and repair all range firing markers and construct and maintain targets and target frames. In addition, the candidate must be trained and certified to operate light wheeled equipment (tractor, back hoe and bobcat) as well as carpentry machinery (a variety of hand held and table saws).Specific Qualifications:The ideal candidate:- Must have three years experience as a supervisor.- Must have three years experience working range maintenance at a military training center.- Must be certified to operate light wheeled equipment (tractor, back hoe and bobcat).- Must have three years experience working with light carpentry machinery to include: Miter Saw, Table Saw, Skill Saw, Chop Saw, Band Saw, Chain Saw, Weed Eater, DeWalt Drills, Dewalt Grinder Swisher and Panel Saw.- Must have and Maintain valid California Driver
