This role will proactively monitor and analyze inventory levels to ensure optimization of inventory levels for our customers. This role will partner with various parties to continuously improve inventory management processes to align with the needs of the customer and improve efficiencies.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES• Proactively monitors and maintains inventory levels in partnership with the sales team and internal departments.• Resolves errors and/or discrepancies with in regards to inventory with Customer Service and with customers as needed.• Follows appropriate procedures and ensures customers are in compliance from an inventory standpoint.• Provides information on inventory levels and needs for the sales team.• Implements approved strategies to maximize optimal inventory levels for customers.• Ensures sales representatives are informed of organizational policies and processes associated with inventory management.• Supports sales management, sales representatives, and internal partners to execute on improvements to inventory procedures, in alignment with the needs of customers, while maintaining compliance with organizational and policy requirements.• Supports the execution and continuous improvement of standard logistics processes, such as the replenishment system, data interchange systems, demand management, electronic data systems administration and related functions.• Integrates learning from customers, competitors, operating entities, distribution, transportation, customer service, other industries, industry groups, and professional training to continuously improve competitive position.• Utilizes problem solving techniques, tact and discretion when handling interaction with sales reps, sales managers, and customers• Conducts special projects as directed and performs other duties as assigned.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESNoneQUALIFICATIONS• Bachelor’s degree preferred, in a medical, business, or supply chain related field or a Masters Degree with relevant internship.EXPERIENCE• 1 year required; 3 years preferred of business, supply chain, customer service, or related work experience or a Masters Degree with relevant internship experience preferred.SKILLS/COMPETENCIES• Strong results orientation• Strong past achievement record• Strong verbal communication skills• Excellence in process management, lean or 6-sigma experience/knowledge preferred• Proficiency in Microsoft applications and systems, advanced MS Excel user• Strong organizational skills and demonstrated ability to prioritize• Demonstrated strength in analytical skills, with the ability to analyze data to make recommendations• Demonstrated excellence in building relationships across various levels in an organization• Demonstrated ability to utilize tact, diplomacy, and discretion• Demonstrated ability to exercise independent judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action• Knowledge of company products, functions, policies, and procedures is preferred.• Experience working with customers is preferred• Experience in the medical device industry is preferred• Experience working with ERP systems is preferred• Inventory management and customer relationship management experience preferred.We are proud to be an EEO/AA employer M/F/D/V.
