The System Administrator will also contribute to the development of new concepts, techniques and standards as they pertain to Finance.* Contributes as a key front-end applications expert and resource in delivering improvements to Finance’s business processes.* Collaborates with Project Managers and Sales and Marketing to ensure accurate configuration/entry of new projects and addendums in project accounting software (Tenrox).* Configures client invoice items, including but not limited to: projects, tasks, budgets, addendums, products, expenses, cost rules, consultants.* Collaborates with Project Management and Sales and Marketing to manage and administrator  annual billing rate increases.* Administrator of Altiris Finance queue* Manages  Finance system configuration* Develops and deploys Finance reports from various reporting platforms (SSRS, Business Objects)* Assists project team members with Tenrox requests* Facilitates communication between Synteract employees and other support teams (Synteract Help Desk, Tenrox Support)* Facilitates communication between Finance and other Synteract departments and business unit leaders.* Leads Finance software upgrades* May present demonstrations, training sessions, and/or other project related instructions to Synteract employees* May perform other duties as assigned.Required Skills* Bachelor’s Degree Preferred – Accounting, Finance, Computer Science/Management Information SystemsRequired Experience* Experience with Project Accounting software a plus* Experience with Access, Excel, Crystal Reports, SQL Reports, Macros, System configuration* 3-5 years accounting/information systems related knowledgeJob LocationCarlsbad, CA, US.Position TypeFull-Time/Regular
