You will be a key member of the new product development team, which typically includes cross-functional representation from engineering (digital, RF, reliability), DFX, quality, test and operations. Keep reading…Experience/Skills Required:* Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME)* 8+ years electronics packaging experience with detailed knowledge of design principles and issues* Working knowledge of metal fabrication processes: machining, casting and sheet metal forming* Working knowledge of SolidWorks software or any 3-D modeling software* Experience performing dynamic structural analysis* Experience performing thermal analysis down to the component junction level* Up to 10% travel* US citizenshipPreferences:* Experience with FEMAP and NX NASTRAN* Experience with SolidWorks Flow Simulation and/or Anysys TAS* Experience planning, performing and documenting thermal and vibration testingOur Carlsbad, CA office is just 30 minutes north of San Diego and 5 minutes from the beach.
