Works with accounting and finance to ensure timely and accurate invoice reconciliation, monthly/quarterly accruals, application of correct cost centers, and performing post-analysis reporting to track expenses to annual operating plansScope:·Audit, track, and ensure that all project related invoices are properly processed and maintained for monthly, quarterly and year-end accruals·Responsible for providing finance with accurate data and cost centers to facilitate intra-company charge-backs for creative services rendered·Responsible for time tracking analysis and financial modeling around the internal creative agency charge-back·Create, distribute, and maintain Ad-Hoc and pre-scheduled expense management reports to Finance, Business Partners, and Marketing Leaders·Ensure that company accounting processes are followed and all invoicing processes follow SOX guidelinesSKILLS /REQUIREMENTS:·Expert-level Excel skills required.·Must be proficient in other Microsoft Office applications.·Must be exceptionally detailed oriented.·Must have proven analytical skills.·Must possess strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to interact effectively both individually and as part of a team.·Understanding of accounting principles and practices including charge-backs, accruals, and cost-accounting practices.·Maintain professional composure in a dynamic work environment.·Previous Experience at Life Technologies is preferred.EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:·Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Marketing, or Communications preferred.
