This is a twenty-four hour responsibility. Emphasis is placed on clinical expertise in Surgical and Procedural nursing. Responsibilities for the department includes: support and promotion of hospital and community, staff development, capital and operational budgets processes and functionality of the Surgical Services. The Surgical Services Department Manager assumes responsibility for the operation of a designated patient care unit on a twenty-four hour, seven day per week basis. The Manager assures all the components of the MMC
