This is carried out through daily interactions with physicians, managers, supervisors, administrative personnel as well as regional personnel. This position requires travel to meetings and training throughout the regions within Sutter Health.Sutter Gould Medical Foundation (SGMF)is a non-profit, multi-specialty health care organization affiliated with Sutter Health. Based in Modesto, SGMF provides quality medical care, health education and research activities in a five-county area. SGMF''s medical staff includes family practitioners, internists and pediatricians, as well as a range of specialist physicians. Services include imaging, nuclear medicine, a health library, health education programs, occupational medicine, cardiac rehabilitation, diabetes education, nutrition counseling, infertility counseling, weight management. This position requires an RN degree and MBA in Business, Public Health or Health Administration. Management experience of at least two years, 2 years and experience with Clinical Quality programs, benchmarking and disease management and Risk Management required. Demonstrated expertise in planning, developing, implementing and monitoring new programs, processes and practices. Must have knowledge of National and State Quality Metrics and qualifying organizations including NCQA, IMQ, IHA, Hedis, and Pay of Performance. Understands the quality and safety audit process of our contracted plans. Understands medical management principles and practices, financial processes, medical operations and planning (business and strategic), public relations. Must also be familiar with medical group practice and the many services it provides. A basic knowledge and understanding of Risk Management is required. Basic working knowledge of Lean management is preferred. Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing: negotiation skills; must be familiar with word processing and spreadsheet software; ability to analyze and interpret data and prepare concise accurate reports; flexibility in varying situations; ability to work independently and effectively under pressure; ability to organize and prioritize duties; ability to work well with other senior administrative and medical staff; willingness to travel as required; project management skills. Proven leadership, team building and consensus building skills are required for this position. Must be adept with the Microsoft Office products of Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook. A working knowledge of Vizio and Access is ideal. Requires prolonged sitting, some bending, stooping and stretching. Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, telephone and other office equipment. Requires normal range of hearing and eyesight to record, prepare and communicate appropriate reports. Normal office environment. Required attendance at many early morning and late evening meetings. Will include travel within the region as well as out of the area meetings.
