<tr><td valign="top" width="450"><b>Title: Registered Cardiovascular Technologist-PerDiem-Briggsmore Speciality Care Center*Location: California-Central Valley-ModestoOther Locations: California-Central Valley-ModestoThis position assists the provider in performing treadmill tests, segmental pressure studies and exercise doppler studies; exercise treadmill tests; applies holter and king of hearts monitors and scans tapes for both monitors. This position identifies incomplete or abnormal scan results and communicates to the appropriate physician in a timely manner. Performs EKG's and blood pressure checks. Responds to "code blue" with crash cart and assists with "code blue" during treadmill tests.Sutter Gould Medical Foundation (SGMF)is a non-profit, multi-specialty health care organization affiliated with Sutter Health. Based in Modesto, SGMF provides quality medical care, health education and research activates in a five-county area. SGMF's medical staff includes family practitioners, internists and pediatricians, as well as a range of specialist physicians. Services include imaging, nuclear medicine, a health library, health education programs, occupational medicine, diabetes education, nutrition counseling, infertility counseling, weight management and pharmacy. High school diploma or equivalent is required. Successful completion of basic EKG course is also required. Current CPR is required. Skills performing EKG's, TM and Holster Scanning such as would gained in one year of experience in a cardiology office or hospital setting. Knowledge of basic EKG interpretation and arrhythmia detection. A basic knowledge of anatomy an physiology of the heart. A knowledge of computers and their applications is required. Understanding of cardiac testing procedures. Ability to read, write, and verbally communicate in the English language. This position requires a person who is a self starter and has the ability to work in a team environment. Willing to train others and work in other areas of Cardiology. Excellent customer service skills are required for this position. Ability to evaluate, accept and implement change. Ability to identify problems and recommend solutions. Ability to establish priorities and coordinate work activities paying special attention to detail. Ability to recognize abnormal rhythms and alter physician as needed. Ability to perform blood pressure checks.
