STCH provides a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services including: a 24-hour emergency department, inpatient and ambulatory surgical services, endoscopy lab, intensive care, diagnostic imaging, laboratory and rehabilitation services including physical, speech and occupational therapy. STCH also has specialized care for Hemodialysis,FamilyBirthing Center,ContinenceCenterand aPainManagementCenter. STCH is a not-for-profit, community-based hospital, affiliated with Sutter Health since 1993. For more information about Sutter Tracy Community Hospital, please visithttp://www.suttertracy.org/<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />The staff registered nurse is responsible for providing individualized nursing care based on knowledge of basic competencies in the fundamentals of nursing and pharmacology, using the nursing process applied to geriatric, adult, adolescent and pediatric patients from admission through discharge. . The staff nurse responsible for monitoring the performance of any clinical and ancillary personnel they supervise while providing feedback directly to those personnel in an assertive and respectful manner.The staff nurseacts as a liaison between the charge nurse, clinical nurse leads, department manager, physicians, unit staff, and ancillary personnel to ensure continuity and quality of service and care. The staff nurse provides leadership by managing care through others using Standards of Practice (JCAHO, Title XXII, and the Nurse Practice Act) and interpreting the Standards of Practice to other staff which may include legal implications. <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />Minimum QualificationsCurrent Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of CaliforniaCurrent BLSFor OB: NRP within three months, Basic Fetal Monitoring within three (3) months and advanced Fetal Monitoring and S.T.A.B.L.E within one (1) yearPediatric Assessment Class or PALS is required within six months of hirePreferred QualificationsMinimum of one-year experience as a registered nurseMinimum of one-year Emergency Department experience as a registered nurse Certification in a clinical concentration preferredACLS and PALSA Bachelor
