JOB SUMMARY:

<tr><td valign="top" width="450"><b>The maintenance mechanic responds to daily trouble calls from maintenance or production team leaders in a food manufacturing facility. Must be able to quickly and efficiently troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical problems in a USDA production environment. Expertise must include working knowledge in electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic. Knowledge in basic PLC troubleshooting, conveyors, pumps, motors, and various high speed packaging equipment, meat mixers, meat slicers, kettles, dough sheeters, depositors, ovens, etc. Must be able to work 3rd shift, must have a high school diploma, GED or certificate of completion at an accredited trade technical school. 5 years minimum experience in a packaging environment. Successefully pass internal skills assessment. Able to work off shifts, weekends and extended shifts, 10 hours to 12 hours a day.
