Provide configuration solutions to address
changing requirements by defining dictionary
entries, templates, workflows, and profiles for
the QuadraMed QCPR CORE database. Customize the
look and feel for usability to meet the changing
and expanding QCPR product and to meet business
and industry best practices.Support the continued
development and maintenance of the QuadraMed QCPR
Core databases.
Detailed Requirements
The candidate will be part of a team responsible
for analysis, design, configuration, testing,
administration and maintenance of the CORE
databases in support of the QuadraMed QCPR
application. This includes working with the
development team to determine the most effective
and efficient CORE database definitions
performing required maintenance and enhancements
in the configuration of the CORE databases
performing analysis to determine solutions
achievable through database configuration,
documenting database configuration, workflows and
administration processes and writing SQL queries
to reflect the CORE database contents.
Daily activities would include working with the
development team to design and document the
necessary configuration needed in order to support
regulatory changes, CCHIT requirements and
industry standard/best practices for all clinical
and ancillary areas of healthcare. This includes
participation in design sessions working with the
Business Analyst and programming teams to
interpret requirements for new functionality
translation of those requirements into
configuration changes needed for the CORE
database, developing new forms, workflows,
templates and profiles as needed, configuration of
user security components to complement CORE
capabilities and offering solutions achievable
through database configuration.
Education/Experience
2 or more years implementation and/or functional
analysis experience working with the integrated
structure of a complex software product suite.
Integration and interface experience is a plus
Clinical background is a plus
Experience with QuadraMed QCPR is highly desired
BS in Health Information Management, Information
Systems, or equivalent
Professional Skills
Functional Analysis and design skills
Excellent problem solving and issue resolution
skills
1 or more years experience with writing SQL
queries
Proficiency with MS Office 2007 suite
Familiarity with the Software Development Life
Cycle
