We are looking for a very special candidate to act as a Account Executive/ Account Consultant for our West coast clients. This position requires 50-70% travel and you must be located in or around the San Diego area. No relocation is provided at this time.If you are a previous Chemistry professional with sales experience and knowledge of anything Chemistry related, please read on!What you need for this position:- BS degree or higher in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering is required- At least 3-5 years of hands-on laboratory experience in a synthetic organic chemistry lab- 4-5+ years field sales experience- Experience selling chemistry related products, services, software and/or data- Previous experience selling LiMS, Electronic Notebooks, Laboratory Automation, or Enterprise Scientific Database or related software is a tremendous plus- Previous experience selling to Chemical, Pharmaceutical or Biotech firms- Must have very strong interpersonal and communication skills- Must be somewhat computer savvy with the basics, MSO and other applications- Open to travel 50-70% (if located in San Diego, California travel will be less)- Ability to travel daily - up to 45% overnight travel.
