<tr><td valign="top" width="450"><b>Job Title: Engineering Change Board Specialist Requisition Number: 28437Functional Area: EngineeringWork Location: Aerostructures - Chula VistaJob Description Summary: The Engineering Change Board Specialist position will work in a combination of the office and manufacturing environment.Main duties and tasks consist of:-Manage engineering serialization in PDM system (Team Center)-Responsible to insure requirements are met for Customer (Boeing) approval of engineering changes.-Lead Change Board Meetings.-Develop engineering cut-in plans with other departments.-Create engineering change summary and lead PowerPoint Presentations-Interface with internal & external customers.-Maintain Visual Controls for presentation to Leadership and Customer.-Duties also include driving Continuous-Improvement by working with Program Management, Manufacturing and EngineeringBasic Qualifications: Bachelors degree and 2+ years of experience in a related field. In lieu of degree, 7+ years will be accepted.Required Skills:-Working knowledge of change release management best practices.-Experience in large scale ERP & PDM systems.-Understanding of Manufacturing (preferrably Aerospace) industry.-Strong organizational and follow-up skills.-Extremely Detail oriented.-Strong understanding of Bill of Material(BOM) and Engineering product structures.-Understanding of product lifecycles in manufacturing.-Proficient in MS Office Suite of software, including MS Project.-Good verbal and written communication skills with the ability to facilitate and lead meetings. Proven written and oral skills; ability to respond to requests to Senior Management and Executives both internal and externally.-Strong leadership skills with the experience of making and inputing recommended changes to Engineering departments.-Experience working with engineering change boards.-Ability to coordinate emergency troubleshooting and change management.-Srong interpersonal skills.Preferred Skills and Experience:-Bachelors Degree in computer science, engineering or business administration or equivalent business experience.Highly prefer current or recent Aerospace experience.-Prior experience with Engineering Change Control.-Comfortable working with basic CATIA Viewing.% Travel Required: 0%
