<tr><td valign="top" width="450"><b>Job Title: Production Support Specialist Requisition Number: 29407Functional Area: Manufacturing/OperationsWork Location: Aerostructures - Chula VistaJob Description Summary: The Production Support Specialist at UTC Aerospace Systems will support 787 Value Stream for aerospace (class 6/10) hardware.Will support Visual Controls within the manufacturing/operations area.Will ensure APU and AMU values are aligned to current takt times.Work with leadership and monitor fabrication, assembly operations, manufacturing processes and vendors that support internal and external production schedules and inventory.Will order of repair fasteners and non-contract hardware.Responsible for the performance of a wide range of complex tasks and services including:- support of manufacturing- part storage- inventory- visual controls of parts supply for customer orders- utilize SAP for integrated component schedules- spare provisioned orders- ship loose kits- maintain cycle counts- support Obeya room visual controls- Standard Tracking Report/Bill of Material maintenanceBasic Qualifications: Bachelor''s degree and 2+ years of relevant work experience. Or in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 7+ years of related experience will be acceptable.Required skills:- Proficient in SAP- Experience working in a lean manufacturing environment- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal- Ability to multi-task effectively- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPointPreferred:- Manufacturing experience- MRP Planning- Lean manufacturing experience% Travel Required: < 10%
