Brief Description
Represents and sells products for Shamrock Foods Division on a commission base to hotels, restaurants, resorts and other institutional establishments or individuals at sales office or customers place of business. An Account Executive works in a fast paced and ever changing environment where attention to detail, a strong sense of urgency, initiative and drive are extremely important to achieving company sales goals. Great listening skills, an understanding our customer needs along with motivating and persuasion skills are important aspects of this job.
The candidate must live in or be willing to move to assigned territory.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The responsibilities and duties of this position include but are not limited to the following
-Compiles lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from newspapers, business directories, and other resources.
-Regularly contacts established customer base by phone and/or traveling through assigned territory to solicit orders.
-Regularly contacts prospective customers to solicit orders, and establish new relationships.
-Displays or demonstrates product, using samples or catalog, and emphasizes salable features.
-Quotes prices and credit terms and prepares sales contracts for orders obtained.
-Collections, order guide maintenance, and order entry for all Avendra, and assigned territory street accounts
-Administer all item changes for the Avendra properties assuring highest level of compliance.
-Attend required customer and company scheduled meeting.
-Estimates date of delivery to customer, based on knowledge of own firms production and delivery schedules.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelors degree B. A. from four-year College or university preferred one to two years related experience and training or equivalent combination of education and experience
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Current drivers license and auto insurance required
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
1 year High School/GED
