JOB SUMMARY:

<tr><td valign="top" width="450"><b>The Food and Beverage Assistant Manager is responsible for assisting the Food and Beverage Manager for day to day operations of the Front of the House Food and Beverage outlets
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES other duties may be assigned
Provides excellent Guest Service
Ensure proper service and atmosphere for the guest
Adhere to all ABC regulations
Ensures proper staffing levels within budgeted guidelines
Ensures cleanliness of the operation and adherence to all State and Federal health codes.
Create, implement and reiterate training and operational guidelines at all levels of the Department that will enhance the guest experience while maintaining a good work environment for staff members.
Act as host in greeting and seating of guest
Handle guest complaints
Assists and Recommends in disciplinary action
Assists in departmental administrative duties
Assists with supervision, motivate, train, evaluate discipline and give direction to all Front of the House personnel
Ensure compliance to all rules, regulations, policies and procedures
Ensure proper documentation of all incidents in detail
Assist in evaluation, training, restructure as needed and assign duties as well as Assist in monitoring attendance of all Front of the House personnel
Inspect staff as to uniforms, cleanliness, identification etc.
Monitor all supplies and establish adequate par levels
Inspect all equipment and report to maintenance any issues
Monitor the overall cleanliness of the facility
Ensure a safe work environment for the staff
Act as host if necessary

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma/GED or relevant experience
Three 3 years of management experience, preferably working in a full service restaurant
Working knowledge of all aspects of a casino beverage operation including but not limited to scheduling, purchasing, accounting, inventory control, POS systems, automated beverage control systems and must posses the ability to step in and work alongside the bartending staff.
