DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES
Summary
This position is responsible for maintaining sufficient inbound raw material supply on time and within specification to satisfy Mars Food US demand, including demand for the Greenville and Bolton sites and any applicable co-packers and co-manufacturer.This includes a portfolio of commodities, flavoring systems, inclusions and organic ingredients with related certification, quality control and storage processes.It will work very closely with the factory Planners and In-bound coordinators to verify autopulls generated by MRP, and ensure they are executed with excellent by the suppliers while adhering to Mars Food DRPO targets.This position will also be responsible for maintaining sufficient outbound flow of rice by-products and waste from the Mars Food Greenville Ms site to its buyers.The above responsibilities include maintaining associated SAP contracts, logistics and invoice reconciliations.
Principle Accountabilities
Track Mars Food factories and co-man/co-packers production schedule and ensure sufficient material availability at suppliers to satisfy Mars Food demand
Track Mars supply schedule of by products and waste and ensure sufficient outbound destinations to satisfy Mars Food site output needs
Initiate and optimize inbound and outbound logistics, service level and compatibility with the plants capabilities and needs.
Ensure appropriate demand forecast visibility for suppliers.
Administer internal Procure to Pay processes such as SAP, MRP, Contracts and Payment Processes
Maintain supply or sales contracts to ensure a smooth running, sufficient and efficient inbound and outbound flow of materials and by products.
Coordinate with manufacturing sites to minimize and manage raw material or by-products inventories while meeting business requirements and delivering high level of plant and customer/ consumer service.
Maintain supplier service level records
Reconcile invoice discrepancies and ensure timely invoice payments

REQUIRED SKILLS
Knowledge and Skills
Pipeline Management needs to understand complexity of inbound and outbound pipelines and processes to optimize logistics and site needs
Systems Knowledge MANMAN, CCATS, MRP, GMR , SAP.
Process Knowledge Procure to Pay, Sourcenet
Ability to manage a diverse set of priorities and activities
Ability to interface professionally with both internal Manufacturing, Logistics and external customers
Excellent PC skills Excel, Access, Power Point and the ability to quickly learn operations systems.
Minimum Experience
*2 years of Supply chain-related experience.
Preferred Education and Experience
*Bachelors degree
*3-5 years experience in Logistics, Inventory Management, or Industry related areas of responsibility.
