<tr><td valign="top" width="450"><b>Saratoga Food Specialties, a member of the John Morrell Food Group, is looing for a Commercial Specialist located at our Corona, CA office.
The Commercial Specialist will provide support to Sales and RD obtaining business at new and existing customers. Position will require significant interaction with the existing customer base supporting RD and Marketing functions.
Position Responsibilities
- Develop and produce prototypes.
- Performs experimental work as specified by project needs.
- Assist VP Business Development in developing reports.
- Assist VP Business Development in project management activities.
- Assist principle customer Taco Bell in RD and Marketing functions.
- Maintain and organize retained sample library.
- Maintain raw material ingredient supply for the lab.
- Maintain listing of active raw materials, eliminating obsolete items from the list and ingredient supplies as required by purchasing.
- Manage other records for internal needs.
- Interaction with customers during ideation sessions and focus groups.
- Working with Key account in developing builds for new menu offerings.
- Providing market intelligence from key account to assist in strategy development.
- Other duties as assigned by Vice President.
Required Skills
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
- 1-5 years of industry experience in seasonings or flavors
- Foundation knowledge of seasonings.
- Excel and Word
- Able to work using a computer environment to print formulas, develop shipping paperwork and labels.
- Ability to lift 50 LBS.
