The Sales Associate position is a junior sales role responsible for supporting post-sale installation, training and up-sell opportunities for a regional sales office. The Sales Associate position is a 6-12 month in-house training opportunity for future Sales Representatives and other sales positions. Sales bonus tied to office performance.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Attend customer product installations and assist with ergonomic tool set-up
Schedule 10-15 post-sale end-user customer appointments per week by working with sales reps in the office on recently closed business
Train end-user customers on set-up, use and functionality of their ergonomic workplace solutions
Setting up 2-3 additional product tests or demos per week
Completing sales activity and opportunity reports as well as maintaining customer contact database
Customer presentations for customers interested in additional product information
Completing sales order paperwork, installation assistance and general customer service
Strong understanding of all of Humanscales products, including task seating, keyboard supports, flat panel monitor arms, task lighting, CPU holders and other ergonomic work tools
Effectively work with other Humanscale sales personnel, such as Sales Representatives, BDR, AD, Monitor Arm Managers and Consultants
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Candidate will have 1-2+ years business sales experience
Bachelors degree or equivalent sales experience preferred
Successful track record of setting and exceeding goals
Working knowledge of MS OFFICE and associated applications are required
Knowledge and/or experience in office furniture or related industry, a plus
Good written and verbal skills
Must be able to lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds
Must be able to do repetitive bending and stretching
Candidate must have adequate and dependable transportation to travel to and from customer site
Must have valid drivers license and automobile insurance
Must be able to drive throughout the workday
Must be able to transport company product in personal vehicle
