They have a key position open for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to research, plan, and design mechanical parts and assemblies for ventilator and related equipment. Typical duties are:<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /> Design of mechanical parts and assemblies for ventilator and related equipment.Solid Works experience preferred.Resolve complex engineering issues of ventilators and related equipment.Design of pneumatic components and assemblies.Perform the fabrication and assembly of prototype parts, assemblies, and complete units.Write the qualification and other test protocols.Perform engineering and qualification testing.QUALIFICATIONS (education, experience, special skills):Bachelor''s degree or higher degree in engineering or physical science.(Exceptions may be made for especially qualified individuals.)Senior Product Development Engineer with recent experience in medical devices containing complex technology on the same order of complexity as medical ventilators.  Knowledge of standard mechanical drawing practices, CAD software; Solid Works
