DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES
Position Summary Provides non-medical personal care, companionship, and domestic services to clients of Professional Healthcare at Home in the clients private homes.
Position Qualifications
1 A minimum of one year full time experience in care giving required CNA or CHHA preferred.
2 Current CPR certificate preferred.
3 Proof of legal authorization to work in the United States required See page 2 of the Form I-9 for the list of Acceptable Documents.
4 Negative criminal conviction background check through California Department of Justice required.
5 Minimum of two positive references required, preferably from most recent supervisors.
6 Driving experience for a minimum of three years a plus. Employees who drive their own vehicles on company business will be required to show proof of a current valid driving license and current, valid insurance coverage as required by law, including but not limited to bodily injury limits of at least $100,000 per person and $300,000 per accident.
REQUIRED SKILLS
Position Summary Provides personal care and homemaker services when an individual or family is unable to meet these needs. The Home Health Aide may not administer medications but may remind the patient to take medications and may supervise the patient who is able to self administer medication.
Position Qualifications
1 Must be at least 18 years of age,
2 Current State of California Home Health Aide Certification,
3 BLS,
4 minimum 1 year previous experience required, home health experience preferred,
5 current California Drivers License,
6 must read, write and speak fluent English.
