The transportation mission is performed by a contractor reporting to the Director.Key Responsibilities Include:Security Program Management* Develop, gain approval and achieve program operational plans; payroll, expense & capital budgets managed to plan and compliant with laws, regulations and contractual terms. * Coordinate investigations.* Oversee tracking, trending & analysis of security incidents and data, and report same regularly or as needed to EOC Committee.* Maintain high level of professional and ethical relations with law enforcement agencies, staff, patients & visitors, vendors and contractors.* Attend scheduled meetings (EOC, event planning, construction, outside agency, etc.) to solve problems and improve process. Develop, implement, review and revise security related polices & procedures.Personnel Management* Recruit, retain, and develop a quality team of management and line level staff within the areas of security and parking control.* Provide leadership to develop staff, program vision and quality outcomes. * Provide effective mentoring, encouragement, counsel, discipline and termination.Parking, Transportation & Valet Management* Manage campus parking transportation and valet services, including parking and traffic safety policy enforcement.* Manage contracted service for valet and transportation.* Lead the planning for parking and transportation programs to meet expanding campus needs.Emergency Management* Co-chair Emergency Preparedness Committee Attend monthly COH emergency management and local DRC (bi-monthly) meetings.* Develop security and transportation elements of emergency response plans and ensure that the appropriate teams are trained and resourced to execute those plans as required.Technology Enhancement* Update and operate the organization’s electronic monitoring of the secured environment to provide up-to-date monitoring and recording.* Improve/update and expand the use of electronic access controls to monitor access to facilities.* Fully utilize the capabilities of the automated management of incident reporting, and shift activity recording system.* Integrate the information collected and used by these systems with other organizational information management systems.System-Wide Security* Manage the organization’s security program across the geographically diverse facilities that currently exist and are planned for the future.* Extend the security technologies employed at the main campus to remote locations.Minimum Education and Skills Required for Consideration:* Bachelors Degree required.
